Tom has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry including owning a hospitality management company along with 4 hotels in the southeast. Previously Tom oversaw a hotel portfolio with eleven full- and limited-service properties. In this capacity, he was responsible for several extensive renovation projects, acquisitions, dispositions, corporate reorganization and refinancing.
Sholom Jacobs started the current real estate portfolio in 2001 with commercial acquisitions in the east coast. Shortly thereafter he started acquiring properties in Harlem and the Bronx and doing full rehabilitations bringing investors IRRs over 30%. In 2008, he started Jacobs Real Estate Advisors LLC, the parent company of JREA Management, because he saw opportunities in distressed real estate.
Zac Weiner joined the Jacobs Companies in 2013. He previously worked for an Asset Management company based out of the New York area that focused on community revitalization. There Zac led the marketing team. Zac holds an economics degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
